The Magnetic Fields – California Girls

The Magnetic Fields är ett helt unikt band. Det finns ingen annan artist där jag kan hitta nya låtar på skivor som jag redan hört hundra gånger. Underbara 69 love songs är en skiva jag regelbundet lyssnar på och jag har alltid en favorit, men sedan råkar jag lyssna lite extra noga på en annan låt som genast tar favoritplatsen. Just nu har jag hittat tillbaka till skivan Get Lost från 1995 och då speciellt låten All the Umbrellas in London. Underbart!

2008 släpptes skivan Please Stop Dancing som givetvis (långsamt) fyller upp förväntningarna. Lyssna på och läs texten till underbara California Girls:
